Olympiakos arrived in Paris on Tuesday to prepare for the Euroleague Final-Four starting at the Palais de Bercy on Friday.
In the second semifinal the Reds will be facing Serb champions Partizan Belgrade and coach Panayiotis Giannakis warned this will not be an easy game despite the low budget of the Serbs.
“Partizan play a tough game, they try to put pressure on you so as to make you nervous and lose your patience. They are not worried whether they lose, they are already successful,” suggested the Greek coach.
He then referred to the thousands of Olympiakos fans who will make the trip to Paris to support Greece’s only representative in the event.
“Our fans have the right to be at the Palais de Bercy and enjoy themselves. We should all go there and enjoy it,” he said upon the Piraeus side’s departure from the Athens airport on Tuesday.
Olympiakos clash with Partizan at 10 p.m. Greek time, three hours after the start of the first semifinal between favourites Barcelona and CSKA Moscow.
