Tuesday, February 19, 2008 : Tsatsaronis to captain side against Monaco

Greece rugby teamGreece coach Niall Doherty has named seven new caps in the 22-man squad for the one-off test against Monaco in the Principality on February 23.

Club champions Athens provide nine of the 22, including inside centre Georgos Tsatsaronis who has been named captain for the first time. There are three players from Rhodes and two each from Spartakos, Attica Springboks, Athens Spartans and Iraklis.

Chris Fiotakis, who is trialling with Northampton Saints in England andĀ  Alex MendorosĀ  who plays for another English team, Colne & Nelson, are also in the squad.
